AlcoEngine Copper Alembic Distillation Lid (47mm Hole) - Suits the BrewZilla 35L & DigiBoil 35L

The Alembic Copper Domed Lid fits the
DigiBoil 35L and BrewZilla 35L only.

The large copper surface area of this copper dome acts as a catalyst with the vapor in the still and help to enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas during the distilling process. It can also help remove unwanted sulfur compounds which results in a smoother richer, sweeter tasting spirit.

This unit was primarily designed to be used with the
AlcoEngine Pot Still. But can also be used with the AlcoEngine Reflux Still if you wish.

Please note that copper is a very soft metal and can be dented quite easily. Store and use with care.

KIT - Still Spirits Botanical Basket & Kit

Make a London Dry style gin with the Gin Botanicals Kit and Botanical
Basket. Simply make your spirit wash as normal, put your Botanicals Kit ingredients into the basket and screw the basket on to the Alembic Pot Still dome and condensor or T500 condenser (by removing the saddles) and run your spirit through.

You can also use the Botanicals Basket to infuse your spirit with other flavours e.g. citrus or elderflower for your own unique brand of spirit.

The Gin Botanicals Kit is a blend of juniper berries, coriander seeds, liquorice root and citrus peels. The ideal blend to make a delicious London Dry style gin.

Still Spirits Water Flow Regulator

We’re all familiar with having to try and keep someone from flushing the toilet or turning the dishwasher on while we’re distilling so we can get the best results. Now you don’t have to worry! This latest Still Spirits product is here to help you perfectly control your water flow when using your still.

We have designed your own small water supply especially for your still. Connect this device to your tap, let it fill with water, and you have a reservoir of water for your still.

The Water Flow Regulator includes:

• Its own built in pump to supply water to your still.
• A float valve to regulate how much water it holds.
• A water flow controller, so that you can set it to the exact flow rate for your needs.
• A cool reservoir to store up to 1 L of water.

Fuselex Ultimate Spirit Filter

Made of 304 Grade Stainless Steel and designed for the home brew industry. The filter only uses approximately 350 grams of Granulated Activated Carbon for 20L of spirit and due to its innovative design you get maximum carbon contact time which ensures removal of taint and smell from your beverage, including: chlorides from municipal water. Ideal to remove Fusel alcohol/oil from distilled liquor. Your not locked into buying a specific brand of carbon, nor do you need to worry about plastic parts being dissolved into your beverage. You can expect this filter to last a life time.

Please note: Spirit cannot be filtered properly at high percentage rates. 40% is recommended as you need to treat the finished product and not add any water after filtering. The filter has an upper chamber, treatment chamber and flow control chamber. The filter also comes with a mounting bracket so you can mount the unit to any wall - saves on that precious bench space!

Simple and easy to use

  • Mount the Fuselex Filter System to a suitable wall fixture at a suitable height with the mounting bracket

  • Pack the flow control chamber using filter media such as cheese cloth or filter wool. This will ensure no fine carbon dust is present in the finished product.

  • Connect the flow control chamber to the treatment chamber and pour the activated carbon into the treatment chamber.

  • Attach the upper chamber to the treatment chamber. You are now ready to filter spirit.

  • Place a collection bottle such as a 5L demijohn below the ball valve outlet on the flow control chamber and make sure the ball valve tap is in the closed position.

  • Once filled with spirit wait at least 45 minutes to ensure the carbon in the treatment chamber is saturated.

  • After 45 minutes open the ball valve and collect 250ml of spirit. Return this spirit to the Upper Chamber as it might have a small degree of carbon residue.

  • Turn the ball valve on until a flow rate of 1 drip per second.
